It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Wayne Smith of Stettler, Alberta, on September 9, at his residence at Heritage House.

Wayne was born in Rocky Mountain House on September 28, 1943, to Raymond and Florance Smith.

Wayne will be lovingly remembered by his sons: Larry (Gaylene) and Kevin (Traci); grandchildren Andra-Lynn (Evan), Matt (Danielle), Jennifer (Jesse), Amber (Austin), Jordan, Reese and Brooklynn; great grandchildren Wyatt, Julia, Owen, Lorne, Blair and Tolkien; brother William (Elaine); as well as numerous other family and friends.

Wayne was predeceased by his parents Raymond and Florence and sister Heather.

At Wayne’s request, no formal funeral service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Stettler Health Services Foundation – Heritage House, Bag 500, Stettler, Alberta T0C 2L0, or to a charity of your choice.
