If your loved one was not under hospice care, call 911 immediately. Emergency services will coordinate with the medical examiner to follow the necessary legal protocols. Once the examiner provides a release, our team can bring your loved one into our care. If the passing occurred under hospice care, notify your hospice representative — they will guide you through their procedures and help coordinate next steps.
Whether at a hospital, nursing home, or hospice facility, staff will notify the proper authorities and reach out to you. If you have chosen Parkview Stettler as your funeral home, the facility will contact us directly. We will arrange a time to meet with you — in person or by phone — to discuss your wishes and begin the transition of your loved one into our care.
