Geraldine “Gerri” Lavallee/McLean

1955 – 2024

Geraldine Lavallee/McLean, “Gerri” having lived 69 years, passed away peacefully in Stettler on March 19, 2024.

To know our mom, momma “G”, nanny, sister, auntie, and friend is to know the loss that is felt. To a woman who lived life to the fullest, loved with no judgement and was always there for anyone. An inspiring artisan, a jack of all trades and all around doer, you are truly an amazing soul and are worth a thousand words over. We leave you with this quote to encompass the love that you left. Till the next game, gathering or whenever you stop in to say hi, we love you.

I Love You

I love You even when I can no longer see you smile in my direction.

I Love You more for who you were as my life moves forward without you.

I Love You for the Me you created.

I Love You for what you left behind within all of us.

I Love You for the mark you left on every person who knew you.

I Love You for teaching me that our souls will meet again.

I Love You more.

Gerri will be forever missed by her loving family daughter Loretta (Larry Wingie) Lavallee of Stettler; son Larry (Ashley) Lavallee of Botha; grandchildren: Jordan (Sade) of Maple Ridge, B.C., Ashley (Nathan) of Penhold, Reece and Zack both of Botha; great granddaughter Kylie of Penhold; brother Perry (Marilyn) Heintz of Stettler; sister Valerie (Steven Ostergren) Heintz of St. Albert; sister-in-law Kathy Heintz of Red Deer; many numerous nephews, nieces, great nephew and nieces, she loved you all the same.

She is predeceased by parents Lawrence “Larry” and Glenis Heintz; brother Dwayne Heintz.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial Donations may be made directly to the Stettler Health Services Foundation ~ Palliative Care Unit.
