Patrick Ernest Lawlor
May 12, 1932 - July 4, 2019

Patrick Ernest Lawlor, born May 12, 1932 in Montreal Quebec - died July 4, 2019 in the Stettler Hospital after succumbing to injuries from a series of falls. Pat was predeceased in 2018 by his wife of 63 years, Rita.

Pat is survived by his children: Ernie (Tracy), Gordon (Sharon), Diane (Sandy)  & Janice; grandchildren: Chelsea (Curtis), Michael (Alexis), Zachary,  Mandy (Adam), Bradley (Derek) & Taylore (Peter); great grandchildren: Nathaniel, Seth & Brody;
sisters Rose & Rita.

Patrick is  predeceased by his siblings: Alice, Helen, Lawrence, Jim, Catherine, Nora, Frank, Agnes, Joseph, Claire, Mike and  Ron.

Pat lived his life large and left a blazing trail of fond memories in his wake. No matter who’s life path he crossed with, they have experienced memorable moments of every description. He loved his family and friends with a ferocity that knew no limits.

This is a man who “lived his dash” with abundance!  Some might say “excess”

Memories of this small statured man of massive spirit will live on with smiles and laughs.

A Memorial Service for Patrick will be held on Monday, September 16, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the Ladner United Church, Ladner, BC.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of  Patrick  may be made to the Stettler Hospice Society.

We were sorry to hear the sad news of Patrick's passing. My late father (Myer Wenger) always spoke highly of him and enjoyed receiving Pat's phone calls. All of us at Wenger's Ltd.(Montreal) will miss him.

Mr. Lawlor is the nicest man. He always called Darlene and I "his girls"
He lived below me on the 1st floor and I live on the 3rd floor. He said if I ever needed anything to just call. We will fondly remember him at Speeds as he would often send us a glass of wine.
He knew our parents and we always had such nice conversations with him.
Rest in Peace, Mr. Lawlor. You will be missed by everyone who knew you.
Love Debbie and Darlene

Dear Diane, Gord, Ernie, Janice and your families:
We are deeply saddened to hear of your loss. Mr. Lawlor, as we will always call him, was a special person in every way with a heart of gold, a smile that lit up every room and laughter that warmed heart and soul. We have such fond memories, to this day, of him MCing our wedding reception. He will be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him..a true Gem. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

To the Lawlor family, my prayers are with you as you go through this difficult time. I met your dad only a couple of times, but I was so 'taken' with his generosity of spirit and his zest for life. He will be greatly missed.

To Gord and Sharon, sorry to hear about the loss of your dad, we didn't have the pleasure of knowing him, but I'm sure he was a fine man. It is hard to lose a parent but to lose them both in such short succession is even more so.
