Mr. Harold George Chick passed away February 21, 2019 at Stettler Health Care Centre, Stettler, Alberta at the age of 90 years.
Harold is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Velma; his loving children: David (Linda) Chick of Halkirk, Connie Jackson of Stettler, Dolores Mason of Red Deer, Chriss Chick of Halkirk and Melanie Elliott (Remi) of Lac La Biche; 14 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren; brothers Frank Chick of Stettler and Alan Chick (Marie) of Saskatchewan; other family and many dear friends.
As keeping with Harold’s wishes a Celebration of Life will take place between May 1 and November 1 ~ as in his words...
“WE’LL LET YOU KNOW”

Velma and Families
Harold was a soft spoken man who had time for everyone who crossed his path. He will be missed by not only his family but by friends alike. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time.

My condolence to you, Velma and your family. Our mom Noreen really loved being around both of you and sharing lunch together. We appreciated everything you did for her and know what a fine man Harold was. Our thoughts are with you and her family.

My dear Velma. Sorry to hear of Harold‘s passing. What a lovely long life the two of you had together, and what a wonderful couple! I always appreciate the wonderful friendship you kept up on with Elsie. It meant so much to her and to all of us. My sincere condolences to the Chick family. Harold was one of a kind.❤ Our families go back several generations. The Chicks are like "family" to the Dukes. Sharing in your sadness as Harold was one of the best people I've ever known.

Velma and family
Thinking of you all at this time. Harold will leave a big hole in your family as he was such a gentle, kind man who had time for everyone. Velma, thank you to you and Harold for being such a good friend to Mom. She loved your visits, cards and phone calls. It meant so much to her that you would both come to visit!
I have many memories of sleepovers and fun times at your house with Connie and Harold put up with all of our shenanigans!
