Elsie Marie (Hein) Harvey passed away peacefully at Heritage House in Stettler, Alberta on June 12, 2017 at the age of 93.  Elsie was born on the February 24, 1924 in Hanna, Alberta to Marie and William Hein; she was the middle child of 15 brothers and sisters.  Elsie was predeceased by her husband Fred in 1992, son in law Ryan in 2004 and all 14 of her sisters and brothers.  
Elsie had a loving and full life and was able to live in her own home until the age of 90, thanks to the wonderful care and friendship of her companion Emily.  She then moved into Extended Care and was treated to such special and wonderful care there.  Thanks to all.
Elsie Harvey leaves to mourn her loving family: Shirley (Garry) Keibel of Stettler, Allan (Anne Marie) Harvey of Fort Saskatchewan and Geraldine Radke of Drumheller; 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; as well as neighbours and friends.
A private funeral service was held at Lake View Cemetery with Rev. Jonathan Aicken officiating.  Elsie was laid to rest beside her loving husband Fred. Her loving grandchildren served as pallbearers.  A gathering of friends and family will take place at Shirley and Garry Keibel’s home, 3806-61A Street, Stettler to reminisce about the life of Elsie and her family.
