To Bill and all the family, our sympathy to you upon the death of your Mom, Grandma, and Great-grandma. Memories of Vera at home in Halkirk bring a smile to me ; what an intelligent, energetic, special lady.

To all of Vera's loving family: Growing up, having visits to Halkirk and Stettler were a highlight for the Slater's, and being close to Vera and all of the Airey's, was an honour, and provided a great source of happiness for my Mom and Dad, Bette and Don, and for us kids as well, as we grew up getting to visit our many relatives in Alberta. Vera's visits over the years to the west coast, with Fred, and later on her own, were a highlight for our family, and we will miss her terribly. What an amazing woman. We love you Aunt Vera....Our love and thoughts to all of you today and always, Steve and Yoland , and Don Slater.

Our deepest condolences on the sad news of Vera's passing. She was an amazing matriarch and woman. I admired her tenacity and strength. I am so sorry I can't come and pay my final respects to her. I wish her peace and thanks for all the cards she sent me over the years with her lovely handwriting.
Anne Kaczanowski and family.
